What are the deposit methods available in Angel One?

Angel One offers two primary methods to deposit funds into your trading account:

  • UPI Transfer: Use UPI apps like Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, or BHIM. The first transaction limit is ₹5,000, and subsequent transactions can go up to ₹2 lakh. The funds are added instantly.
  • Net Banking: Transfer funds directly from your registered bank account. The limit depends on your bank's Third Party Transfer (TPT) settings. The funds are added instantly.


How to Add Funds Using UPI?

Follow these steps to add funds using UPI:

  1. Log in to your Angel One account.
  2. Navigate to the 'Account' section and click on 'Add Funds'.
  3. Enter the amount you wish to add.
  4. Select your registered bank account.
  5. Choose 'UPI' as the mode of transfer.
  6. Enter your UPI ID and proceed.
  7. Approve the payment request in your UPI app and enter your UPI PIN.
  8. Once the transaction is completed, you will be redirected to the Angel One app with the transaction status.


How to Add Funds Using Net Banking?

To add funds using Net Banking:

  1. Log in to your Angel One account.
  2. Go to the 'Account' section and click on 'Add Funds'.
  3. Enter the amount you wish to add.
  4. Select your registered bank account.
  5. Choose 'Net Banking' as the mode of transfer.
  6. You will be redirected to your bank's Net Banking page. Enter your login credentials.
  7. Complete the transaction as per your bank's process.
  8. After completion, you will be redirected to the Angel One app with the transaction status.


Are There Any Charges for Adding Funds?

No, Angel One does not charge any fees for adding funds to your trading account. However, your bank may levy charges for certain transactions like NEFT, RTGS, or IMPS. It's advisable to check with your bank for any applicable fees.



What Should I Do If My Fund Transfer Fails?

If your fund transfer fails, consider the following steps:

  • Ensure that you're using your registered bank account.
  • Check for sufficient balance in your bank account.
  • Verify that your bank's transaction limits are not exceeded.
  • Confirm that your internet connection is stable.
  • Retry the transaction after some time.
